ResearchAI
Start your first SciIntel ResearchAI project (simple guide for students)
From undergraduate projects to postgraduate work: when to use Discovery, how to pick a title, and how to create a project if you already have one.
This short guide covers only how to create the project. For research questions, drafting, citations, Zotero, and finishing, use the Complete student guide.
Two simple paths: use Discovery if you need a title. Skip Discovery if you already have one.
What a project is
A project is your ResearchAI workspace. First you only need a clear title. Later you add questions, sources, drafts, and exports.
When to use Discovery
- You only have a broad idea
- You need title options for a supervisor
- You must choose a research type first
Start with Discovery
- Sidebar → Discovery
- Choose research type (example: Final Year Project)
- Type topic → Suggest titles → pick one → Create project
Start without Discovery (title already ready)
- Sidebar → Projects
- Type full title → optional summary → Create project
What to do next (do not stop here)
- Command → Structure questions → save them in Overview
- Add papers in Literature / Sources / Research OS Library
- Draft sections in Writing Studio or Research OS Write
- Cite with RAI keys, check Integrity, then Export
