When to use Discovery in SciIntel ResearchAI

Discovery is the starting room in SciIntel ResearchAI. It answers two questions only: What kind of work am I creating? and What could the title be?

Use Discovery when

• You are an undergraduate choosing a final-year topic
• You have a topic but titles feel weak or too broad
• You want options that are more academic, more specific, or more focused on a gap
• You need to pick a research type first (project, proposal, review, and similar)

Skip Discovery when

• Your supervisor already approved the exact title
• You are continuing work you started elsewhere
• You only need a workspace for writing and literature, not title ideas

Simple Discovery steps

• Sidebar → Discovery
• Select research type
• Enter topic
• Suggest titles
• Create project from the title you choose

Discovery starts the project well. It does not replace literature review, methods, or writing.
